The good outweighs the bad (barely)
The room was exquisitely decorated,, and the location allowed us to explore nearby attractions easily.
Limited breakfast choices were disappointing,, making mornings less enjoyable. Also, noise from the street was noticeable during the day.

We had an amazing time staying here with friends! Enjoyed visiting the Goodspeed Opera House for an unforgettable night of musical theater, and headed to Chamard Vineyards for some tasty wine. The inn itself is stunning and clean. Mia was super helpful and friendly during our visit. Just note that breakfast isn't served anymore, but it really didn’t affect our trip.
I heard some guests had trouble reaching out for help during their stay, but we didn't experience any issues. Mia was quick to respond to our needs, ensuring a smooth visit.

The decor was like stepping into a captivating storybook—European crystal chandeliers sparkled above, while exquisite Persian rugs added warmth to the elegant rooms. Such thoughtful touches made the Boardman House Inn feel like a luxurious retreat!
More easily accessible common areas would be lovely.

Beautifully restored historic property. The Garden Suite offered a private porch—great for relaxing. Limited breakfast variety annoyed us.

The Garden Suite was spacious with a lovely private porch, which was a nice touch! The decor felt upscale and cozy. However, the mattress was pretty hard, and the thermostat situation was annoying since it was controlled from elsewhere. The room felt stuffy at night, and I couldn't open the windows for fresh air. Extra pillows or blankets would’ve made it comfier too. It was nice and clean overall, but I expected a bit more comfort given the price.

I enjoyed visiting the Goodspeed Opera House with my family, as the kids loved the lively performances. We also found some cozy spots to relax after a day of exploring. The place is charming, and my boys appreciated the mini fridge available in the common area!
For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly amenities.
